Project Title
Alif - An Urdu Generative Pre-Trained Language Model
Description
Pre-trained a language model from scratch entirely on Urdu data, the model will offer inference in Urdu. The aim is to provide the same performance in Urdu using a relatively small model as compared to large state of the art model. This will provide an alternative to large memory and compute resources.
